Saturday Morning Post

A 'surf and turf' kind of week.

Sunset from MacDonald Hill.

Believe it or not, that little strip of land out there used to be a baseball diamond
back in the 40's and early 50's!!

Now that was easy!

Great clouds this week.

Picked up this great 'Pooh' high chair this week for the shop.

Gray matter.....

Half the battle/fun is getting out to the waves.

Riding the tunnel.

Looking for supper.

Great looking hydrangea in this graveyard.

'Now hear this.....'

'Jim, where have you been?'

Looking through to the lake opposite the beach.

Me, Sophie and Ron....feeling mighty TALL!

Dining sandpipers.

A beautiful evening down at the beach.

Drip-dry?

Sophie watching the surfers.

Don't see this too often at the beach.

A lone Heron looking for a snack.

Let's call it a day.

  1. Difficult to pick a favourite photo, but the sunset, sandpipers and the heron appeal to me the most! We had a thunderstorm in the night, and still very grey skies. My little schnauzer is peering out of the window, no doubt hoping he won't get wet on his morning walk! Have a great weekend.

  3. You had a beautiful week! In the first picture, the water looks like sifted sand, nice!
It won't be long and that water will look cold again. I also like 'Calling it a day'
    Have a good one, Jim!

  5. Another wonderful collection, Jim. I really can't choose a favourite. Horseback riding on the beach...that is something that really appeals to me. The shots of your shadows is fun. It's good to get silly sometimes!
