Art of Passage

It was a beautiful 'almost spring day' in Nova Scotia on Sunday.

We wanted to go to a place that we hadn't seen in a while.

We went to Eastern Passage (click) which is to the east of the city
of Dartmouth (which is across the harbour from Halifax).

In Eastern Passage there is a fishing village
called Fisherman's Cove.

It is a photographer's dream, not to mention
any artists' heaven.

I took a few pictures.
Here is one of them.

  2. It looks like ribbons of paint in the water. I've always liked photographing boats. The reflections are fabulous.

You know Debra, I think that is what attracts me most to reflections...I really get what those impressionist artist were going after. Imagine actually creating something like this!!

    1. Thanks Ivan. There is something about reflections that I love! I would rather take photos of them instead of the actual 'subject'....a psychologist could have a field-day with that!! lol
I have a few more I will post.

Terry, it was difficult to only post one photo I must admit. I was just thinking that you all may be getting a little tired of going through all my photos day after day.
Just doing something a little different this week...we'll see how it goes. But thanks for the compliment Terry.
