Thinking Out Loud

The heat here feels just like these photos look!

Human nature is a funny thing.

We whine about the cold in winter and

the heat in summer!

  1. I could send you a little bit cold weather ;)! 13° Celsius, that´s not a real summer *sigh*!

*shrugs* "Wir müssen nehmen was kommt!" :))) So, have a nice day.

    *hugs*

  4. Beautiful photos, Jim. You're being quite artistic these days! I don't complain as much about the summer as I used to. I would rather have that than the long, cold winters where I do a lot of complaining...LOL... It's been horribly dry and hot in my neck of the woods. We haven't had rain in ages. If you get any, please send some our way. My garden is suffering, and I can't imagine what this is doing to the farmers.

    1. Thanks Martha. I supply the image/structure and Picasa helps with the rest....just something different to look at.
I know Ontario's weather is more extreme than the Maritimes' but I see that it is taking a toll on our garden too.

  5. We're so hot and dry we're starting to worry about the water level in our well. Who know's maybe we should drink more wine!! :)

We are starting to conserve water too, just in case our well gets low.

    2. Sorry...

My spelling has gone awry, it looks like I have been in the wine...

Not enough time to do the things I would like. It's going faster now...
(Did you notice the sunsets are earlier and July is half gone?)

  8. Oh, Jim, you know I NEVER complain about the winter. It's this summer that's making me want to move to the North Pole!! We are breaking ALL kinds of records here in Chicago with the crazy heat we've been enduring. Winter can not get here fast enough for me!

I suppose it could be worse. We could be complaining about the heat in winter and the cold in summer!

  11. Groovy & Psychedlic man! Did you have your bell bottom pants and nehru jacket on when you posted these pictures Jim? I am guilty by the way. I cannot take the heat! Of course I don't have a refreshing and beautiful ocean in my back yard, either... that would change everything. I don't like winter at all! Give me spring and 75 degrees and I'm happy. So I hope you're happy. Here I am complaining!
