Sure is, Lyn!
Stunning! There have been an exorbitant number of butterflies around here this summer. During the gardening section of the morning news yesterday, it was brought up, and the woman said it was due to the extremely mild winter that we had here. Makes sense to me!
Me too, Lisa! There are more around here too.
"Beach butterfly" has such a nice ring to it! Much better than "beach bum," for instance.
LOL! I see what you mean Debra!
A beautiful moment. There seem to be fewer butterflies here - perhaps because some of the plants they lay their eggs on have shriveled and died in the heat.
Well if we don't get rain soon, we'll be in the same boat. It is very unusual here in Nova Scotia not to get rain for over a week.
What a pretty find! I can see that it's getting it's fill of whatever be it water or nectar. Great close-ups!
I had to chase this fella around a bit.....hard to keep up with these guys! lol
Beautiful! I am enjoying the butterflies here too - when I walk Naughty George, I pass through a meadow, and as I walk by disturbing the grass a little, the butterflies rise up and flutter all around. It's ace ... and just like your fantastic photos!
Hey Annie, good to see you!Yes, aren't these 'walks' through a meadow great!
Wow, what a beauty.
It sure was.
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
