Beautiful fall color.I never know what day it is.
And it really doesn't matter, eh Laura? Unless of course there is a meeting or appointment.
Yesterday I thought it was Friday " tomorrow". The reason being that a friend texted and asked if we wanted to go for a drink in town "tomorrow". For years now we have seen these friends for a drink every so often…always on a Friday, so you can see how I got confused. I was pleased when I realised my mistake, as I wanted to be able to watch the evening of " Children in Need" programmes on TV. It is an annual event where BBC has a whole evening of special, usually comic programmes, and asks for donations the whole time…….telling the audience every so often how much has been raised, and interspersed with little films of the many and varied children that will be helped by the money. Do you have anything similar over there? Yet another grey day here today, but thankfully not actually raining!
We do, Frances. It is called Christmas Daddies and has been going on for decades......there are performers of all stripes to entertain us while there are 100's of people answering the phones and taking in all the donations. A great cause for kids and families in need.
Screws me up too. Leaves are gone in my neck of the woods
Are they? Ours are hanging on for dear life!!
We get every day of the week mixed up. Retirement really confuses us!
It IS a confusing condition, this retirement!! lol
Yes, it feels like Monday to me too! But what a short work week it will be, LOL!
Yes, I used to LOVE those short work weeks too!!
Yup, it does mix me up. It really doesn't feel like Thursday today.
I hear you, Martha! It just can't be Thursday!!
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
