Eclectic Tastes

Woke up yesterday morning hearing this on the radio....
it stayed with me all day.

You just can't beat the harmonies done by the McGarrigle sisters, (click) Kate and Anna.

For all us romantics out there, on this very cold winter day.

  1. Among my favorites! I saw them perform several times over the years in San Francisco. I was so saddened when Kate passed away.

    1. Hi Walt. They are special, that is for sure. The passing of Kate was definitely a loss in the music world. I loved the tribute that the whole family did for her on TV.
      Good to see you.

  2. Love their voices. Life then was much different from nowadays. Music is one way to tell.

  7. Hi Jim! This is a new song for me, and it is lovely. I've been reading your blogs for the recent days I missed, and I had to put my sweater on. There is nothing like raw Atlantic cold for seeping into you bone marrow. Burrr! But you photos are lovely ~ that one of the waves with the deep blue fronts and translucent green and gold wow! Thanks for sharing some of the history of MacDonald House. I really enjoyed our visit there last summer. Have a great week!
