Saturday Morning Post

Where did this week go?

Evening sets in on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia.

Three 'jadeite' mugs which never made it to the shop.

I 'found' this chair this week and believe it has potential.....
after a good cleaning.

Dog, ball, man and camera.

Shop corner.....

Looking west from MacDonald Hill.

Sophie at her favourite spot on MacDonald Hill.

Ripples.

Jewelry at Fancy Lucky Vintage next door to MCM.

Waiting.....

Went to see my father yesterday.
He was at lunch so I went into the large sitting room and saw this piano.

One of the staff, Jennifer, heard me and joined in on a few duets.
We had a lot of fun!

  3. I remember when those jadeite' mugs were used in some restaurants. Nostalgia... What is that pansy picture in your shop - cross stitch? Your Saturday photos always have me looking at the nuances. I know you're multi-talented, Jim - but a piano man too?

    1. I remember those mugs too, Barb. They call these 'restaurant ware'.
Yes that floral is a framed 'cross stitch'. I have a few larger 'cross stitch' as well. You have a 'good eye'.
Well, I wouldn't go as far to say 'piano man'. I can find my way around on the piano......keeping it simple.

    1. Everyone needs a balance in their lives as you well know, Inger. Beauty is not difficult to find....it is everywhere.
Dad is doing quite well. He had a fall a month ago but no bones broken. It took a while to recover though. He is mostly in a wheelchair now which he can use all over the hospital.
Yes, Sophie is a joy for us.
