He was one of Nova Scotia's best known photographers and famous for his
seascapes and images of sailing vessels.
I have a number of his framed works and this is my favourite one.
It shows a fisherman in his nor'easter looking out to sea.
It is called 'Scanning the Weather'.
Fishing has always played a big role in the economy of Nova Scotia,
that was one of the reasons the Europeans came in the first place.
