  3. You have a Dala horse, just like mine! Love the fall colors, love miss doodle's matching fur color, love your shop, and all you pictures. Also love the word splendour, spelled that way, it's somehow more descriptive than the way we spell it here. If that makes any sense.

    1. Some of us Canadians will never drop that 'u'....that's all there is to it!! lol It does make sense....that 'u' makes one want to draw out that last syllable.
      Thanks Inger.

    1. I have to admit that I did not know that horse was called a Dala Horse. Now I know, thank you. It belongs to Amy in whose studio it is sitting on the window sill.
You are most welcome to take as much colour as you need, Sharon. Enjoy!!

    1. Blogger was giving Ron a tough time the other day....but not me! And I am 6 feet away from him!! Go figure!
That is a date, Louise, next time you are 'home' a breakfast it will be.
That barn and river is just over the hill from Wolfville.

  7. I like the tricycle in the shop. I wish someone would cook breakfast for me.

    1. I traded a fellow that tricycle for a Dinky truck! Both were happy.
I am sure a certain fellow would make you breakfast, Janie....right?!

    2. No. I make breakfast for him. The thought of him cooking makes me nervous.

  8. I always love the Saturday ones. I think you two are kitchen artists as well as photographers. I'd be in trouble in your shop - especially because I'm trying to pare down rather than accumulate. Those stairs - the stairway to Heaven maybe?

    1. Thanks Barb. Lately/recently we both have gotten into making more elaborate breakfasts than usual.
The whole purpose of the shop was to 'pare down' and de-clutter....so we are on the same page except my process will probably take longer.
It was 'heavenly' that evening at the beach, Barb.

  9. Wonderful photos, Jim! Isn't it amazing how endless photography is. Right when you think you've 'snapped' it all, something new to photograph presents itself. I love that stair photo, and the face off made me laugh! What an imagination you have :)
