I wondered if there was a thin layer of ice already there, super photos. Stay warm. Cheers,Jean
Today Jean it is 25C!! Warm and muggy due to Hurricane Gonzalo heading our way in a few days and pushing all that tropical air up to the north. So no layers of ice for a little while here.
i sure am enjoying fall!
What's there not to like, Joyce?! I'm with you on this.
Every single year it just takes my breath away. : ) What a pretty series.
Me too, Becky! It never gets 'old', eh?
It sure is gorgeous, fall, my favourite, except this year strange phenomenon, it's HOT and I don't like HEAT, I love cool, cold colder, coldest but I don't like summer and it's so hot in my room that I wish I hadn't taking my air conditioner off, next year I'm keeping it until the first snow fall. Take a deep breath, live the moment. Breathe in,breathe out. I'm trying Jim.
Good for you, Lorraine! Practice makes perfect, the old saying goes.I am with you on warm temperatures......I prefer cool to cold over warm and hot!!
What fantastic shots, Jim!
We have the barrels on diagonal corners of our house....one in front and one in back. these barrels full of water provide not only needed H2O for near by plants but also for Sophie to jump in and splash around....like she did today Debra as it is 25C here....very tropical as we are having a visit in two days from Hurricane Gonzalo heading our way! I hope it stays WAY out to sea!
Nice shots, Jim. Mid-October, no turning back now.
Straight ahead, Captain!!
Beautiful! And the painted ponies go up and down...
You got it, Mitchell!'....We're captive on the carousel of time.....'
I love the vibrant colours in these shots, Jim; especially that shade of blue in the water. It is definitely the in-between seasons period. Same for us here. Before you know it, we'll be taking winter shots!
The sky has been so blue, Martha, and it reflects on the water. I really like the 'in-between seasons' .Yes winter will be here soon enough.....let's just focus on fall.
Good eye, Jim! I like these photos a lot.
Thanks Barb. It's been really lovely fall weather here for a week or so.
Wonderful photos, Jim! And I love all the vibrant colors. Have a happy evening!
We are having a happy evening, Louise. Just returned from the Hill where Sophie loves to go before falling to sleep every evening. And a happy evening in our 'new to us' Toyota Matrix!!
Tom Rush please!!
What about Joni, Mr.Ronald Douglas Troke?
Here we seem to just have a summer season that is hot and then one that is not so hot. The signs along the highway, welcoming strangers to our town, say Land of four seasons, but for the past couple of years it seems like a couple of those seasons got lost. Am I complaining here, you bet! Other than that, I do love your very creative and beautiful pictures. Just Great!
Such brilliant colors!
