Eclectic Tastes

The music today is by one of my all-time favourite singer/songwriters,
Kate Bush.   (click to learn more about her)

She captures this pop music period so well...late 70's and early 80's......
when musicians and singers were starting to reach out in other directions
away from 'the Beatles period' and moving into more ethereal
interpretations and presentations.

I knew all her music and wore out the vinyl records.

Hope you enjoy her passion and artistry.

    2. I have boxes of vinyl in my attic but they don't have anything on which to be played anymore. I guess I should check ebay for a phonograph/turntable but I keep forgetting. Love the old days when you had to put a nickel on the needle to keep it from sliding across the record. Awwwww, good times.!

  5. We have tons of vinyl too, they now say vinyl has a better sound. Just wanted to let you know that the little deer will have to stay at the park, it was determined she could not be released back in the wild. Rachael negotiated to get her for the park, an LA County park where Rachael got a job as a head animal keeper. They had another deer that was a star attraction, but he recently died. Among other critters, Rachael is in charge of a herd of bison. I must go and see this place and share with you all.

    1. It sounds like a fascinating place Inger.....imagine having Rachael's job! It seems perfect for her. We were just watching a local TV program about this exact thing....the taking in and releasing of wild animals after they have been rehabilitated. Some can't go back intomthe wild while others can and do.

  6. "Running up that hill" is how I know Kate Bush. The radio market around Boston is full of 80s music shows on the weekend.
