On A Balmy November Morning

The temperature rose to 18C today. We headed to the beach early to take advantage of this.

Down the long boardwalk we went not quite sure what month
it was supposed to be.....it felt like early May.

Maybe we should be worried about where all this 'climate-change'
is headed, but in the meantime what a glorious day at the beach!

  1. Nice images, Jim! We've had some nice warm days, too. May as well enjoy them while we can because our Canadian-style winter will be here soon enough.

    1. This happened last year here as well. One good (?) thing was that it brought out the 'new' blackflies and mosquitoes and there were hardly any in the spring! There ya go!

  4. So true Jim--we should maybe think about these things, but hell--carpe diem! Wish I could walk down that boardwalk!

    1. Hi Karen! We can only apply pressure to 'the powers that be' and convince them there is a problem and they will move with it. At least that is what could happen.

    1. It is mostly dry except for the beginning which has a large stream under it which fluctuates with the tides.....or a big atorm will cover this entire area.

    1. Thanks Barb. It is a long boardwalk! It was built after a hurricane and serious flooding of the area.

  10. It was made after a big storm and goes in and around 'tricky' areas.
    No complaints here!

  11. Our weather has been schizophrenic here - back and forth between balmy 80s (F) and snow. Back and forth, back and forth. Like you I worry about climate change, but I still rejoice at every beautiful warm day.
