I love these shots and the new header is fabulous.
Thanks Chania.....it was a special light for sure! How's the tan going?
Your new header photo is ultra-fabulous. What contrasts!
Nothing like a dark gray background to POP colour and light! Thanks Debra.
Love the new header! Great photo op with the setting sun, super contrasts.
Thsi light will get through to spring!! lol
Wow! Love the header! Golden light in these photos.
Pat you would have freaked! We had about 20 minutes to shoot our heads off! lol

Jim, I do hope you take that header picture and get it framed and up on the wall, it is stunning!
I will add it to a list Jen. I don't have much wall space!Just read your post today Jen. So sorry for your family to have been so affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Hello Jim,Stunning pictures and header, you must have been quite surprised with the intensity of the colours.Ivan
I/we were! It doesn't happen that often and we are there to see it for ourselves.Have a wonderful family weekend, Ivan.
and it was hitting my blond highlights!!
Oh Soph! You and your blonde highlights!
Sophie, you've got me belly laughing again!
That `Soph`is just full of it, Louise!!
These shots are absolutely spectacular! Light like that is such a gift when it comes along and you sure took full advantage of it.
Yes we did Carol. It was funny....I wished I had two cameras going at once!! lol
WOW!! That header is spectacular!
Thanks Lisa! Have a great weekend in Chicago....any snow there yet?
You can even make a telephone pole look good!
Thanks Terry. But I think the camera had a little to do with it...not to mention the sun, the clouds, the grass and the stones!!
It's amazing what light can do! I'm always trying to shoot earlier or later in the day because the lighting can make or break a picture. You should see the Four Corner region in strong, slanting light. It makes the rocks vibrant. You have the eye of an artist, and it shows in every snap..
Oh cut it out Louise!! Thanks though. Mid day photos need a lot of extra help but the early and late ones can go pretty much on their own. You are right.
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
