The golden yellows, lime greens, and oranges are all lovely, but the red leaves are stunning, that tree stands tall with glorious colour.p.s. I like your knitting, with cables in strips. Is it finished?? This was in a previous post maybe some long time ago. Greetings from Jean
Good Morning.Lovely, lovely, lovely. Yellows - galore! Perfect.
Thanks Sharon! Now back to work!!
Now I want coffee.
Well then, there is only one thing to do Debra!
I'm drinking my delicious pumpkin spice coffee to the last drop as I gaze at these lovely colors! Splendid photography, Jim.
I can smell it from here! Pat, you would have a ball along this canal with your camera.
Hi Jim,Beautiful flashes of colour. Have a good weekend.Ivan
Thanks Ivan, you too!
I'm glad you like my header photos. Some of the earlier ones were taken by my hubby and I do have some fabulous winter ones, also taken by him that I will post when winter gets here. Talk about fabulous, these are so beautiful, it's difficult to find words. No wonder I feel that nature is so important to our well being.
They are spectacular! Who needs words with those photos?
Your photos are why I love fall and why I am getting that new lens for my camera--I think after 3+ days without power, I deserve it, and a good cup of coffee, don't you think? :-)
Oh Kim! I hope things are getting back on track! What a storm Sandy was! You really deserve a new lens and a big cup of coffee!! Go for it!
it does seem as though you have been abundantly blessed with the Fall colour this year...worth every shot...to the last drop! I remember those commercials too.
Hi Joanne! What day is it? Just checking!.....lolI guess the 'successful' commercials stick to us forever!
Maxwell House Coffee...I remember smelling the can as I opened it for Mom...no wonder I'm a java addict...there I said it...I admit it!
The first step is admitting there is a problem!! lol
Fabulously vivid and gorgeous colours!
I will thank Mother Nature for you, Fiona!!
Beautiful shots on a day made for a cup of good, hot coffee when you get home. I loved the Maxwell House Coffee commercial! It brings back many memories. Don't you love You Tube? You can find anything there.
You Tube is like what the encyclopedia was like for us as kids, Louise! Except more!
I'm so glad you took a second shot of that red (maple?) Amazing. Thank you for joining us at Rural Thursdays Jim. xo
Thank you Nancy and you are welcome!
Beautiful photos! 99% of our leaves are gone. We had a few snowflakes this morning. Thanks for checking in. Give Sophie a hug for me.
By Monday we will be in the same boat, Lori! The temp is dropping as I speak!Sophie says 'lick'!!
Ahhh that red tree and the lime green grassNature never clashes
Nature knows what she is doing and we can take it from there! This was a truly spectacular fall around Nova Scotia.....doesn't happen every year.
