Wordless Wednesday.....almost

Found this at an auction sale years ago. Love it because of the 'hustle and bustle' outside Grand Central Station, NYC by John Haymson. It is a print from the original watercolour.

  1. Oh I love it! It looks like it is set in maybe the 40's...right out of an old movie!

  2. Beautiful! And, the style seems familiar. Who's the artist? I sound like an expert, don't I? Not true, it just jingles a bell somewhere.

  4. Reminds me of a scene from MAD MEN. Actually been to NYC and loved it so much. MAYBE when I am an old, craggy, biker babe; I will go hang out in Soho! LOL :O) Beautiful artwork

  5. Is it a water colour or a print? Quite striking, who is the artist? May be valuable these days?

  7. Oh, I like this! So very 40's or 50's. Reminds me of the days when people would dress-up to "go to town" and shop. We always put on our Sunday best to go to town.

  10. I do like this... Great pic. I've never been to NYC but it's on my list of places to visit, hopefully sometime soon. I'd like to go to a show there... we'll see...
