Saturday Morning Post

A week in December in Nova Scotia.......

Lone crow on a wire....

From the top of Fort Needham Park in Halifax.

A real swinger this fella!

From my perch at the shop last Sunday.

Sun setting over the Atlantic. (straight out of camera)

So, there really is such a thing as a Unicorn!

Sunlight through glass.

Another day.......

  1. I'm loving all the sunset tinged shots Jim - a great theme. Send some sunshine our way will you? Very mild and cloudy here.

    1. Thanks, Craig. I can't control myself when I see these sunsets while at the shop or on MacDonald Hill.
Will do my best to get some of this your way.

  3. There's that beautiful blue water again! My parents had one of those horses. I seem to remember that for some reason 2 Danish men stayed with us for a short while when I was very young, and they gave one as a present. At some point it broke in 2 right across it's middle. I think my brother might have it now.

    1. Hi Frances. Maybe that is the origin of this one as well.
Oh yes that blue water....reflecting the bright blue sky.

    1. That golden light has been quite something lately, Barb.
I wonder how these crows survive the winter here....or anywhere.

  8. Great shots, Jim. I especially like the one with Ron swinging. I'd be doing it, as well. Life is too short not to :)

  9. You live in such a beautiful place! And you guys make it even more-so. I love that swinger. And, by the way, yes unicorns really DID exist, because I heard in a song that Noah simply didn't manage to get them on the ark. The one on your shelf? Sorry. Not real.
