From My Perch

It was a glorious day here on Sunday
and it seemed everybody was taking advantage of it
along the shoreline.

Surfers by the dozen arrived at the surf shop downstairs from the shop
to get their gear.

Dogs and their humans were going up and down MacDonald Hill all day.

And this Boxer was keeping an eye on his humans
to make sure they were right behind him.

All in all a wonderful day at work.

  1. I'll bet you were kind of wishing you were down there with Sophie and Ron, yourself, Huh?
    A truly gorgeous day!
Here, we had rain, and then we had ... More rain. We have had our share of pretty days too.

    1. We three have spent a lot of time in this area and I usually do see from 'my perch' heading up the hill.
Sounds like you have had a good balance of rain and sun. We are trying here to do the same.

  6. That does look like fun! Boxers were the only breed we had for years and years, great dogs! They very much keep a eye on their humans as you said.

    1. It is fun to watch people, Texan. My partner, Ron, grew up with Boxers as well. He says there's nothing like them.

  8. I'm surprised that you sell anything with a view like that! My back would be turned to the customers all the time. It all looks like the very essence of summer.

    1. Well, we are getting there, Craig. Our summers are usually late in arriving full force.
      The view never gets tiring.
