At The Beach

Tuesday past was a beautiful, cool spring day here on the Eastern Shore.

So off to the beach we went and Sophie led the way!

Up and over the dunes to the far beach and waiting for us  there she was.

Overhead a helicopter was heading towards Halifax.

Sophie was BEYOND HERSELF when we 'bumped into' her buddy Mocha.

I used to teach with her mommy, Cynthia and we hadn't seen them in a while.

I always find it interesting how dogs will reconnect/remember each other so quickly.

These two get along so well and Cynthia rewarded them for it.

Mocha is just over a year old, if that, and she is a sweetheart.

With a mist in the air it was a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours at the beach.

Oh yes, check out the 'GIVEAWAY' I am having at the top left just below the 'header'!

    1. They are very good together.....as long as Sophie is the 'leader'. Mocha is OK with that.

  2. It looks like a lovely beach. Mocha is a beautiful dog. Of course, I love that last picture, it seems to tell a story by itself.

As usual, great pictures! That winding walkway looks very interesting with it's odd little jigs and jags. :o)

    1. There is a STORY in every photo Sharon! Hey I have an idea.....you will illustrate your stories with my photos!

That walkway was built that way to accommodate the streams there. It gets very flooded during hurricane season.

  3. I love those beach photos! I would love to be sitting there right now, as long as the temps are what we have here (50s today). I don't like the heat, but I enjoy the sunshine. Well, except when it triggers a migraine...sigh...

    1. I'm with you on the heat! I do not look forward to August here...the hottest/most humid month. I can handle the 50's and 60's very well thank you very much! The temperatures, that is! lol

  6. Again... spectacular photos. The shot of Sophie and Mocha, ecstatic, in mid-air is joyous.

Spring, huh? Someone still looks like he's dressed for winter.

  7. You know you've been reading someone's blog too much when you glance at a photo and say "Oh, it's Sophie's friend Mocha!" before you read the words.
