Very lovely! That's a beautiful plant to grace a home. I love hibiscus with its bold and beautiful flowers. I don't have any indoor now, but I do have a couple of them growing in the garden. The flowers are almost as big as dinner plates!
Thanks Martha. This one goes outside in June....gradually, to adjust to the warm temps after living in the basement for 6 months.
Oh my goodness, it's so pretty! Vibrant color!
Isn't it Pat! It will bloom again during the summer once it is outside.
That's beautiful, love the color!
And the photos are not 'touched up'!
Thanks Lori! The plant isn't bad either!!! lol
Just lovely, amazing you can keep it going in your basement over the winter!
It is by a window that lets in a minimum of light....but it appears that is all it and a few others need.
So pretty Jim!
reading your title..I had the urge to answer"dear Eliza...dear Eliza!"
"Well fetch it dear Johnny, dear Johnny....FETCH IT!" lol
now you 2...cut it out!
lovely post looks wonderful
Jim- these blooms are beautiful! I've tried to winter my hibiscus in the basement- but when I bring it outside-- it takes it all summer to catch up and make more blooms-- I must be doing something wrong!! Yours is gorgeous--Vicki
I have no idea why it blooms every year in winter in the basement! Unless it may be 'rootbound'?! This one has changed colour a bit.....from more a yellow to this tango tangerine golden.
Silly me - I kept looking for a butterfly on the flower! It sure is pretty.
Now you know how I felt when I saw this!
I saw it and all I could think was 'bloom where you're planted.' I wonder if it's good advice if you're kept in the basement... :-)
There's even beauty in your basement. I love it!Just don't go putting that outside yet. Even we had freezing temps last night.
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
