Eclectic Tastes

In the past couple of weeks Ron and I have become fans
of the BBC Sherlock Holmes series on TV .
It is so cleverly done and keeps us guessing.

Here is a violin musical medley of the series.

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

  1. Yes, Sherlock is quite good fun. There is a new short series just started last week, only 3 episodes I think, and then no more to come.
Have you seen " Last Tango in Halifax"? (That is our Halifax in North Yorkshire not your Halifax!! ). It is one of my all time favourites. It stars Sarah Lancashire, Derek Jacobi, Nicola Walker ( who also stars in Unforgotten) and Anne Reid. A cast of brilliant actors if ever there was one! We also have a new series of " Unforgotten" started last week. I didn't see the first series, but will look out for it as a box set if it is available. Promising to be very good indeed. Enjoy your snow. It is very grey and damp here this morning. About 8c. Just noticed it is raining.....wet dog walk to come .

  2. I need to get started watching this on my own. Jerry is not a fan of Sherlock stories.

    1. It is very cleverly done and at a fast pace I may add.....which at first caught me offguard but I settled into it.
yell Jerry that this series is nothing like those old ones....it is very up-to-date using technology to the fullest.
You will love it I'm sure.

    1. We found it on PBS, WW. Maybe you can access it from there.

  4. We have the first 3 seasons on DVD but no time to watch them yet. Too many good TV series and movies and just not enough time! But we'll get to them eventually.

    1. We started it backwards with this last series of three! Not on purpose but just the way it came to us.
You will love it, I'm sure, Debra.
