Eclectic Tastes

Last week the local surfing community lost a fellow member due to illness.
There was a memorial 'paddle out' down at the beach.
His name is Steve Armbruster and he turned the coffee/cafe business in the city on it's heels back in the 90's.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

  1. What a beautiful and moving tribute. I didn't even know him and it brought tears to my eyes.

    1. We only knew him to see him, Mitch. He came from Colorado in the early 90's with a community of Buddhist business people and settled here. He has had a few coffee cafes in the city over the years since. He was a gentle man.

  3. A tribute from their hearts, and in each face, the way they walked, the smiles, it showed their love and respect for their fellow surfer. His memory will last on at Lawrencetown always.
