Retro Saturday

On our vacation to Cape Cod last month, I visited a few antique/collectible shops. One of those was in Provincetown.

It had so many items that I would have LOVED to have purchased! But I controlled myself and ended up buying this little glass tumbler.

It is a 1974 Warner Brothers advertising  product that would 'fit in' well with what I already have.

And who doesn't like Tweetie and Sylvester !

  1. Love that tumbler Jim! It seems you like the vintage tumblers as much as I like knifes and forks!

  8. OMG! My mother had Sylvester glasses from a gas station in the '60s. Wait! My mother STILL has Sylvester glass from a gas station in the '60s. (They're in the cabinet sitting next to the Tupperware from the '50s). I love this!

  9. I think I have a Tom and Jerry glass in the downstairs cupboard, still full of grape jelly. You want it? Minus the jelly, of course. If you do, I'll check and make sure I'm remembering correctly.

  11. I bet you set a fun table! Eating at your house would be a walk back through time! And probably a good eat, too. :)
