For all you epicureans

Just have to share this blog I follow with you all. I discovered it a few months back, and being a closeted (don't go there!) chef/baker, I think you will like this guy. In my next life I will pursue a career in this field. (not the one below!)

Enjoy.

  3. Hmmmmm! There are elements of French cuisine that I enjoy and those that I do not. I'm happy to order something of that genre if I'm dining out, however, I'm adverse to fiddling with it when i am doing the cooking. I am strictly 'macro' when it comes to preparing food for myself, or, food I wish to serve others.

Do like perusing recipes, tho' 'cos i do get lots of ideas from doing that!

  4. Sharon, it is grass but it does look like cattails come to think of it!

John, I'm with you on the French cuisine....too rich for me. However, he does make and discuss other things that would fit a macro diet. So you are a no meat man?

  5. I'm not much into cooking since closing my own restaurant four years ago. But as for those pictures, I have one question.... Is Nova Scocia heaven?

  6. Stew, well, yes, Nova Scotia IS heaven! The two pics however were taken last week in PEI (Prince Edward Island)....hahaha.....a parallel heaven.

  7. His recipes do look tantalizing don't they? If I only had the patience to cook...then again I'd probably be 300 lbs.
