Contemplative Monday

Thinking about my mother, Mary Florence MacIsaac Cuvelier today....
she would have been 96.

"The most difficult times for many of us
are the ones we give ourselves."

  1. I hope you're having only sweet and happy memories.

  2. Mrs. C: "Ron, why do you laugh so much?"

Ron: "Because I love/have to." (This made me think many years ago and I thank Jim's Mom for pointing it out!)

    Thanks Mrs. C!!!!!!

    1. Yes Ron, she thought you were very entertaining!

  3. What a wonderful photo of your mom. And I've no doubt you have some great memories of her!

  4. Lovely photo of your mom Jim, and a lovely way to start the week.

  5. Hi, Jim! I'm home for a little bit and have internet at hand! Yay! I loved the photo of your mother who was so pretty. 96! It reminds me of how time passes so quickly. We never imagine ourselves as old, and suddenly we are. One of the things that made Ron stand out in my memory so much over the years was his laughter and sense of fun. He hasn't changed. Sending you both a big hug!

    1. That is what attracted me initially as well, Louise. I had not met someone who was as happy as Ron was about life. He has taught me a lot.
Good that you are home for a bit.
Very wild weather here.....rain and wind. No snow yet.
      Take care.

Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
