Your words and photo today symbolise it perfectly. Love the simplicity, and the underlying meaning there.
At the shop yesterday I noticed this crow on a wire.....I waited.Felt a lot better when I realized the symbolism right before my eyes. Leonard is free now.
Leonard Cohen's music/poetry are so quotable and so powerful. Thanks.
What a legacy he has left us all, Mitch.
i always thought that given the chance, i would have dropped everything and run off with leonard.
Joyce, you probably are not alone. He was a 'Pied Piper' of sorts.....in the best of ways.
A big loss, but LC's music and poetry will live on. thanks for this simple and poignant post!
You are most welcome, Louise. It came to me at the shop as I was looking at this crow on a wire.
Thank you Jim for your post today it's helped me free my mind of all the clutter lately.
Always good to try to keep things as simple as possible, Margo.Taken me a lifetime to learn this. But it works.
i don't " get" the drunk reference
Well John, I figure Leonard was comparing himself to a drunk at a midnight choir service because he felt they both had something in common......that is both looking to be free of the things that keep them pinned down to the earth's drudgery. IMHO
Like a simple and profound message. Thanks!
His message was usually simple once one figured it out, Martha.
