Saturday Morning Post

A bunch of 'new characters' this week......

Meet 'Enrique'....our newest 'tenant'.

A very typical April day in Nova Scotia.....the snow lasts till evening.

Imagine how hardy Crocus must be to withstand
the climate here in early spring....not to mention that insect on it.

Hope for the future....June.....when this Rhododendron bud will be in full blooming mode.

Took this photo on Thursday from the shore at Point Pleasant Park in Halifax.

From my perch at the shop looking east towards Lawrencetown Beach.

Trios at the shop......

A vintage couple.....

A children's book at the shop.......

From my perch at the shop on MacDonald Hill.....

  2. Oh, brrr (as opposed to other four-letter words that come to mind), I can't believe that snow. But the sweet memories of crocus! I wish I lived near your shop and then I'm glad I don't. My house would be filled all over again!

  4. 'Enrique'...quite fascinating! I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. A wonderful collection of photos; that last one is stunning. And you have the most interesting things in your shop, Jim! It must be fun for people to walk around and discover such cool items.

    1. 'Enrique' I got in a thrift store last week. Wasn't sure if he would be a 'shop' or a home tenant. .....trying it at home for a while. I thought at first it was a female, Martha, but upon closer inspection discovered the very hairy upper lip!
Sometimes I surprise myself at the amount of things that are in the shop.
