Contemplative Monday

"To be fully alive, fully human, and completely awake
is to be continually thrown out of the nest.
To live fully is to be always in  no-man's-land,
to experience each moment as completely new and fresh.
To live is to be willing to die over and over again."

....Pema Chodron

  1. Oh, good one, Jim! And great photo to go with it.

  2. What a magnificent photo. Wow! Thanks for the wise words, I have sort of felt in no-man's-land since Errol died, and keep being surprised at how well I do and how happy I am now. The words you shared explains some of my feelings, I think.

  3. The photo is magnificent; and when I look at it, I'm right back on top of MacDonald Hill feeling the wind and the sun, smelling the clean ocean air, and enjoying being with you and Ron and Ms SD! And the words in the Pema quote are so true! Speaking of Ms. SD ~ Saturday, after my political event, we went to a memorial celebration for a friend who had died a few months back. The hosts had a giant, brindle-colored Labradoodle. I swear Bogey was twice the size of Sophie. He'd rest one haunch on this large leather couch and have his other three snowshoe feet parked on the floor. LOL Have a good one!

Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
