Saturday Morning Post

'All over the map' type of week....

Glanced up and out the window at shop......

A lot of fog this month so far sticking along the coast.
Usually it burns off by noon but the cooler temperatures keep it around.

One BIG mushroom (probably a deadly one)
sitting atop a nursing log in the park.

Moored boats in the Northwest Arm in Halifax.

Had lunch yesterday with two of my sisters, Paula (left) and Jo-Ann,
and of course my buddy, Ron (it just happened to be our 44th
anniversary as well).

From the Dartmouth side of the harbour looking
over to Halifax one evening this week.

George's Island is in the middle of Halifax Harbour.
You can barely see its lighthouse through the fog.

Can't imagine summers without daisies.

Preening gull......

The odd, but beautiful, couple along the trail.....

Green....and more green.

These three 'sunfish sailboats' were being towed out
to the mouth of the harbour due to lack of wind.

The much-maligned slug (gastropod mollusc) on the trail the other day....

A dozen or so young women arrived at the surf shop (downstairs from my shop)
for surfing lessons the other day.

Now in tamer waters at Lake Banook in Dartmouth
these rowers were getting into a rhythm for an evening row.
