Eclectic Tastes

Cat Stevens (now known as Yusuf Islam) was one of the first
musicians to whom I really paid attention to their lyrics.

Liked it back in the 70's as much as I still do now.

Have a wonderful Sunday/Monday everyone.

  1. I don't see any video, so I'll have to go to YouTube now that you've got the Cat Stevens bug in my head.

  2. I also didn't see you had a video but I am guessing...Peace Train? Or Morning Has Broken?
Moring Has Broken, the words are from a poem, later set to a hymn...Richard and I had that one played at our wedding!
Also, didn't I see that Cat Stevens (now Yusef Islam) has a new song out now?

  4. I ADORED Cat Stevens when I was a teenager! I was also so impressed when he gave up all his fame to pursue a spiritual life instead.

  9. I loved this song, Jim; still do. It was the background track to my summer of 1972 in St. Lawrence, Newfoundland. Thanks for featuring it!
