    1. I see that you had quite the time, Mitchell, in the parade and all the festivities around it. Must have been fun!

  3. My life is all about a cup of coffee at this moment, Jim! LOL However, I can vividly remember those south coast rocks and foggy scrambles. I can hear the waves and birds, and I can feel that damp chill and the smooth granite under my feet. So I'm evocatively and gratefully remembering in this moment. So does that mean I'm missing my real life right now? I rather like memories of the past and imaginings of the future. Sometimes Buddhism and such are perplexing! Maybe I should just focus on how good my coffee tastes! Have a good one ~ may it be real!

    1. Drinking that cup of coffee couldn't be more present, Louise........brushing your teeth, eating your lunch.....it is whatever we are doing at the time. Remembering the past in the present is good too....just don't live forever in the past, can make things difficult I am sure for some.
      Oh today was real!!

  4. So true, Jim. Life only really exists in this moment. There is no guarantee of a future and the past is gone. Just enjoy each day as it comes!

    1. Isn't it funny, Inger, that this quite simple fact takes so long for us humans to appreciate.
