'Springtime'  'gorgeous' weather continues.......

The ice is disappearing....

Reflections at home.....

A couple of hounds at the shop...

Slowly but surely...

Critters at the park....

A very important lighthouse at the mouth/entrance to Halifax Harbour....

Ships waiting to enter harbour....... taken from 40 km away

Top of MacDonald House.....

These next three photos were taken at 'Be Gorgeous'....

We visited her yesterday.

And who is THIS gorgeous fella?!!

I couldn't resist taking a few shots of the colourful product-line.

  1. Wow, I just looked out and it is snowing….. Proper big flakes ! Only just started so don't know if it will settle. It was supposed to be raining so I doubt it will last for long. Have a lovely weekend. X

    2. We have had wintry showers all day, but nothing settled, for which I am grateful ! I don't like walking on ice, or driving in snow.

  4. Every photo is gorgeous. But Ron is probably one of very few people who could put on those glasses and still "be gorgeous." The photo of the top of McDonald House should have Sophie playing the grasses and it could be called "Sophia's World."

    1. Mitch, I think of 'Christina's World' every time I am at this point on the hill.
Sophie really does feel like it is HER world up there.
Yes, some people can do just about anything and still look terrific......his father was the same way....I never saw a bad photo of him (mind you there weren't that many).

  7. A great collection of photos, Jim! I love how you add artistry and emotion to the basic photos. Very striking, especially the "mundane" product line ~ now a still life. When we get back, hopefully winter will be almost gone. April is one of our snowiest months, but with spring coming earlier, perhaps not so much this year! Right now I'm sitting in the breezeway between the lobby and pool of our hotel. Dawn will be coming soon because the birds making a racket. I'm getting up at five to use my computer and write during the quieter time. No internet in the rooms. It is wonderful to be here. Ron looks dashing! Have a good one!

    1. Up with the birds, Louise! I love that time of morning when they just start to make their presence known.
Smart you are to take advantage of it.
You will better be able to cope with the cold and snow when you both return, as you will have absorbed so much vitamin D3 that it will get you through April and May!!
I bet it is just wonderful indeed, Louise, to be there.
Yes, Ron with a mustache! Who the heck is he, anyway!?
