Yeah, I don't know about that quotation. Surely love has got to mean a little more than that? But I'm probably missing some deep Buddhist significance, LOL!
Maybe so, Debra. I see it (the quote) as meaning if one is loved by another then that love recognizes the existence of that individual....thus giving credence to their life. Nothing like love to make one feel alive....really alive, not just going through the motions.
And that could be so for plants, flowers, cats, and a dog or two,( Guess whose name goes here??) maybe any animal... and us humans specially. Lovely words.
All sentient beings, Jean. What a mixture of climate we had today!.....first snow, then hail/sleet/freezing rain and finally good ole rain! then the sun came out for a while and then back to rain!! Gotta LOVE spring in the Maritimes!!
Very lovely thoughts. And fabulous image to accompany them!
Wow! TNH nailed it! This is my favorite quote that you have published. It recognizes the fulfillment of such a fundamental human need! Great photo too! btw, Terry frequently mentions your photos and comments on what a great photographer you are! You have a secret lurker who tries to keep a very low profile. LOL
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
