Eclectic Tastes

Spring has arrived here in Nova Scotia.
May not be as lush as this video shows,,
but give it a few weeks and 'spring' will be realized.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

  1. Really, are you in springtime mode? Thought I did see some lingering snow in places. Enjoy that longer sunshine, warmer days, and beach visits again. Here, we had almost a frost on the lawn this morning!! And lit the fire!!!

  2. What a delightful video. Here in SE England, the daffodils are finishing, and the hedgerows are glorious in white blossom and new greens. Many trees are already showing their beautiful greenery...some yet to get going. The mallards on our local river have paired off, though don't seem to have nested yet as the females are still very much in evidence out with the males on the water. We have had well over a week with no rain and the garden is getting desperate .My water butts are emptying rapidly as I water the new plantings. Very warm daytimes ( 19/20c) for the last few days.....lovely indeed. Have a good Sunday.

  3. The video is clearly not from the current, spring-infused Nova Scotia, which still has snow!

  6. Lovely music and video, spring is here one day but could be gone the next really unpredictable even the weather forecasts get it wrong.

  7. Spring is busting out here in Colorado, too. I've been listening to the lawnmowers nearby and mentioned to Terry how great that sound was. We're not bursting out with flowers yet, but the redwings are trilling along Piney Creek, the cottonwood catkins are getting big, and green shoots are popping up everywhere among remains of last year's growth. The whole landscape is waking up!
