Saturday Morning Post
Sticking to the shore this week......
As Ron was driving me to the shop on Wednesday,
the orange-red jacket caught my attention on the Salt Marsh Trail.
This elderly couple also caught my attention
as they were manoeuvring the front steps to the MacDonald House.
I was very nervous for them both.
And yes, we need better accessibility for people with special needs.
I bought this painting a couple of years ago....it is quite large...41" X 29"
Yes it is spring but still chilly on the hill....Ron and Sophie.
Spectacular moody skies on Wednesday down near the beach.....
Here's another.....
Looking through shop window....
Crystal colour and light.......

Saturday Morning Post
Water water everywhere......
Our favourite park in the city borders a container pier
which is located in the Halifax Harbour.
Approaching the MacDonald House n my way to work.....
A rock island at high tide......
Remnants of a 19th century British fortress at Point Pleasant Park.....
From my perch at the shop....spring is definitely on its way.
Yes it is!
A cargo ship entering the harbour....
Taken from Black Rock beach at the park.....
Ron, Sophie and I had a good visit with my father yesterday.
He gets a great kick out of Sophie.
A couple of 'kite surfers' at Stony Beach/Lawrencetown River....
taken from my shop.

Jenn Grant (click) does a great job on this American rock band 'Survivor'
hit of 1982.
Jenn is a 'regular' visitor to the shops at the MacDonald House
and she gets a lot of her wardrobe from my shop colleague,
Amy, who owns 'Fancy Lucky Vintage' across the hall from me.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

Saturday Morning Post
A very 'sleepy' week......
Sophie and I on MacDonald Hill heading down to Stony Beach.....
Ron being sick with a terrible cold bug all week,
Sophie was working overtime being his second-in-command nurse.
She wouldn't leave his side unless I forced her out with me to the beach.
.....it can be tough being a dog.....
Catching the 'rays' as they sweep across the walls.......
Seeing stars at one of the shops at MacDonald House....
Sleep was the best medicine to treat this 'bug'.....cold bug!
MacDonald House in early March......
Windy out there.....
Sparkling glass.....
.....a variation on a theme.....

Saturday Morning Post
The snow has all but gone here in Nova Scotia....at least on the coast it has.
So happy and surprised that I got this Berber/Moroccan saddle blanket
at an auction recently.
Very thrilled to see this 'iceberg' this week......albeit at Lake Banook!
Hey....I try.
And speaking of Lake Banook.....with Ron and Sophie.
An attempted 'murder' of crows......
The stark but beautiful north Atlantic.
'Sunday at the beach'....
Reflections at the shop....
Sea-dreaming.....
But a shadow of itself....
Soon the time will be springing forward....right?
Sophie and I on MacDonald Hill this week.......
Peek-a-boo!
