Last weekend we headed to the Halifax Waterfront where there are many things to see and do.
Halifax in summer is lined with trees.
The Waterfront is a prime location and has spectacular views from these buildings.
Oh Canada!
There were many 'sailors' out on the waters.
With a brisk breeze, it was perfect conditions for sailboats.
It was also a perfect time for some needed energy.......the sweet kind!
This bright red boat jumped out at us!

Heading back to the car.
Peninsular Halifax slopes down to the harbour.....very hilly.
Learning 'street etiquette' can be tough for a 'beach pup'!
'Look both ways before you cross the street'.
On our way back to the car we couldn't help but notice this sailor
who appeared to be in a hurry and heading towards the harbour.
Looked like he was going away for a while.
