Saturday Morning Post

Today is a very special day around here.

On January 3, 1950 at 2:10 A.M. in Wolfville, Nova Scotia,
a baby boy was born to Gordon and 'Tommy' Troke
and to brother, Michael.

Grandmother Jessie was looking after things at home
till the baby got home.

They didn't know what they were in for!

Twenty-three years later, on 14 July 1973 I would meet this 'boy' for the first time
in Wolfville where I was attending Acadia University.

My life changed for the better that day
and has been on a journey with this guy who has a very unique way
of seeing things.

I like what he sees and what he has shown and taught me all these years since.

Thank you Ron.
I love you.

Oh yeah, and Happy Birthday you old fart!!

Bow-ties were the rage I guess!
