Saturday Morning Post

A week in pictures......

Looking through the kitchen window.

Cormorants and a gull at Black Rock Beach in Point Pleasant Park in Halifax.

Leaves and pine needles on deck.

Smoking section at the shop.

Wouldn't be a mid-century shop without 'Marilyn'.

Taking a breather.

Giant chain at the park.

The tree we had felled this week...a Poplar.

This anchor and chain came from an air-craft carrier that was stationed in Halifax
during the 50's and 60's. The chain runs all the way to the harbour.

Where that felled tree came from....among the Birches.

Kayaker.

Multi-coloured beach pebbles.

Brand-spanking new 'prayer flags'....should last for 2 or so years.

Mound on mound of rocks at the beach.

Change of tide.

Portion of clam shell on beach.

Surfer heading in.

Looks good enough to eat!

Got this child's tricycle this week for the shop.
Needs a little TLC but otherwise in great shape.

J is for Jim.

Everyone needs reassurance now and again.
