Thinking Out Loud

I learned many things from my mother when I was a kid.
I enjoyed spending a lot of time with her in the kitchen.

And since there were a lot of 'mouths to feed', Mom was always baking something for
all those hungry bellies!

I, even at that age , noticed that she was happy when she baked
and this was reflected in the final product. Mom's baked goods seldomly failed.

So whenever I need some 'focusing' and to get my mind off of things for a while,
I find myself where else but in the kitchen baking.

A 'learned behavior' for sure and a good one too!
Especially when the gingerbread turns out the way it ought to.
