Humbly Yours


The Goldenrod can be seen pretty well anywhere this time of year, at least here in Nova Scotia.




Yesterday we went to the Gaspereau Valley to a canal where Sophie loves to swim and fetch her ball.




Along both sides of the path  and at the water's edge there was Goldenrod.




I didn't realize, until I looked it up, that this very maligned plant has some redeemable medical qualities that have been used for some time.




Besides, how could one not appreciate its beauty along a canal on a afternoon in late August. Unless of course you are allergic to it!
